How it works

Three simple steps from your first question to your decision.

Step 1

Create an account

Create your account by entering your name, email address and a password.

Step 2

Tell us what needs checking

Log in, tell us what needs checking, make your payment and hit submit. Our team does the rest.

Step 3

You decide with clarity

You get our findings, including red flags and anything we could not confirm, before you commit to the deal.

What happens to your deal

Here is the full journey, including who does what at each stage.

  1. Create your account

    You

Sign up with your name, email address and a password, then confirm your email. It takes about a minute, and every deal you submit lives in your own dashboard.

  2. Tell us what needs checking

    You

Choose what you want verified: land and estate, a used car, a company or an investment. Fill in a short form about the deal and the other party, and attach photos or scans of any papers you have. You see the price for your deal type before you pay.

  3. Pay securely

    You

You are taken to Paystack to pay. We never see your card details. Your deal only moves forward once the payment is confirmed, and you get an email to say we have received it.

  4. We assign your deal

    Our team

A senior member of our team reviews your submission and assigns it to a verification officer. Your deal shows as Assigned in your dashboard, and you get an email to say it is now in progress.

  5. We investigate

    Our team

Your officer works through the documents, claims and details you gave us. They record what checks out, what raises a red flag and what could not be confirmed.

  6. We review before we release

    Our team

Nothing goes to you straight from the person who did the checking. A second review has to approve every set of findings first, so you get a report that has been looked at twice.

  7. You read the findings and decide

    You

Once approved, your deal shows as Completed and we notify you by email and in your dashboard. Open the deal to read the full findings, then decide what to do with clear facts in front of you.

What we can check for you

Pick the type that matches your deal. Each one has its own checks and its own price.

Land and estate

Title, ownership and survey checks, so you know who really owns the property and whether the seller can sell it.

Used car

Papers, VIN and ownership history, so the car in front of you matches what you are being told.

Company

Registration and standing checks, so you know the business you are dealing with is what it says it is.

Investment

Legitimacy and risk checks, so you can see what is behind the promised returns before you put money in.

What you get back

A written report in your dashboard. No jargon, no guessing.

What checked out

The claims and documents we were able to confirm, written plainly.

Red flags

Anything that does not add up or that you should be careful about.

What we could not confirm

Where we could not verify something, we say so instead of guessing.

Always know where your deal stands

Your dashboard shows one of these labels on every deal, and we email you when it changes.

  • Pending payment

Your deal is saved and waiting for payment.

  • Paid

Payment confirmed. We are about to assign your deal.

  • Assigned

A verification officer is working on it.

  • Completed

Approved and ready. Open the deal to read the findings.

Common questions

How long does a verification take?

It depends on the type of deal and how quickly the records can be confirmed. You get an email at each stage, so you always know where things stand.

What documents should I upload?

Photos or scans of any papers you have about the deal, such as agreements, receipts or registration papers. You can attach up to 10 files. Please do not type ID numbers into the form.

Is my payment safe?

Yes. Payments are processed by Paystack. We never see or store your card details.

Do you tell me whether to go ahead with the deal?

No. We report what we found, including red flags and anything we could not confirm. The decision stays with you.

Can I check more than one deal?

Yes. Each deal is its own request with its own payment, and all of them appear in your dashboard.

Have a deal in front of you?

Check it before you commit. It only takes a few minutes to tell us about it.
